Sara established the Parent team at Elli Travel in 2025.

From an early age, Sara has been fortunate to travel the globe. She recognizes and appreciates the distinction between travel and vacation. Equally excited about exploring new cultures and destinations as she is unwinding on a gorgeous beach with a book in hand, Sara will help you create memorable experiences away from home. 

Sara enjoys the challenge of meeting the needs of each traveler, whether they are 5 or 85. She relishes planning vacations to celebrate those important milestones - honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays or just because! Multigenerational travel is a favorite of Sara’s to plan.

A few of Sara’s most memorable travel experiences are diving with great white sharks in South Africa, hiking Machu Picchu, swimming with wild dolphins in the Bimini Islands and wandering the Old City of Jerusalem. She spends most winter weekends skiing with her family, although she secretly wishes she was on a beach. Sara has traveled throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, extensively throughout Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, South America and South Africa. Sara’s favorite trips always include a healthy mix of relaxation, adventure and education. 

A graduate of Middlebury College and Columbia University, Sara lives in Darien, CT with her husband and their two high-school aged daughters. In a prior life, she taught elementary school in both New York City and Connecticut and is currently a member of Darien’s Board of Education.
