Jodi was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she lived until she was nine. Growing up in South Africa, her favorite memories were of vacations spent at the beautiful beaches of Cape Town, on safari in the Kruger National Park or in the majestic Drakensberg mountains.

Moving across the world as a child fueled Jodi’s passion for travel and began her unending desire to experience life in other cultures.  She has traveled extensively throughout her life, including all over Southern Africa, Israel, Egypt, France, Bermuda, London, Greece, Bora Bora, the Caribbean and extensively in the United States.  Jodi is happiest when exploring new places and likes to immerse herself in the local culture- spending hours researching the best beaches, clubs, restaurants, shops and local experiences. Her latest trip to the Greek islands of Santorini, Paros and Milos truly helped her realize her new calling.

Before joining Elli Travel, Jodi had a long career in Development, Fundraising and Event Planning. Her meticulous attention to detail and coordination skills make her well fitted for a career in the travel industry. For years her friends and family have been commenting on her trips she plans for her family - asking for advice on where to travel, stay and eat.  She is thrilled to now be joining Elli Travel as a Luxury Travel Advisor, where she can help clients customize luxury itinerates that are both culturally immersive and deliberately personalized.

When Jodi is not busy planning her next escape, she can be found with her daughters, husband, two dogs, friends and a cup of coffee in hand!
