From a young age, Sara has been fortunate to travel the globe and caught the travel bug early. She recognizes and appreciates the distinction between travel and vacation. Equally excited about learning about and exploring new cultures as she is unwinding on a gorgeous beach with a book in hand, Sara will help you and your family create a memorable experience away from home. 

 

Sara enjoys the challenge of planning multi-generational trips and focusing on how to best meet the needs of each traveler, whether they are 5 or 85. She also relishes planning vacations to celebrate those important moments in life...honeymoons, anniversaries or just because! 

 

A few of Sara’s most memorable travel experiences are diving with great white sharks in South Africa, hiking Machu Picchu, swimming with wild dolphins in the Bimini Islands and wandering the Old City of Jerusalem. She spends most winter weekends skiing in Vermont and enjoys the chance to get out west when she can. Sara has traveled all over the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, and has traveled throughout Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru and South Africa. Sara’s favorite trips include a healthy mix of relaxation, adventure and education. 

 

A graduate of Middlebury College and Columbia University, Sara lives in Darien, CT with her husband and their two middle-school aged daughters. She taught elementary school in both New York City and Connecticut and is currently a member of Darien’s Board of Education.  Sara works in association with the Primmer Team at Elli Travel Group.
